Secure Plus® Medical Hydrogel Dressing

is a semi-transparent flexible gel with ability of absorbing a mininum amount of fluid by swelling, but also donating moisture to a dry wound. This cool and flexible dressing can accelerate epithelization as well as smooth pain. It is convenient for local application.

Mechanism

Secure Plus® Medical Hydrogel Dressing is highly conformable and permeable to air and moisture vapor, which is usually indicated for dry wounds or minimum exudate wounds. It can hydrate dry wound beds and soften and loosen slough and necrotic wound tissue to promote debridement and create a moist wound healing environment. Hydrogel dressing has also been shown to promote granulation and reduce the temperature of a wound bed.

Changing frequency

Secure Plus®Medical Hydrogel Dressing can be applied for up to two hours without the need for replacement, as long as it retains sufficient hydration and maintains an optimal moisture balance upon direct contact with the wound site. This ensures the dressing remains effective in promoting a moist wound healing environment.

Contraindications

Secure Plus® Medical Hydrogel Dressing contains hydrogel dressing that is not applicable to full thickness burns and individuals hypersensitive to the dressing.
